It is incredibly hard to write and describe how Brexit has taken over our lives and that of the 24 hour news cycle.

We here at the week of have been unfortunately very busy due to the madness that has taken hold of our small island.

In any event we have decided that everyone needs 5 to 10 minutes away from the world of politics. Around about 50% of the population have woken today dreading that Article 50 will be triggered and then at lunch ate their sandwiches whilst Donald Tusk waved us goodbye.

Therefore, in an attempt to distract, pull and make sure some of us get that break away from the Brexit/Trump news cycle we wish today to offer a distraction piece which will do just that.

They say music is all around us and Bartholomäus Traubeck has provided us all with proof that it indeed is.

Bartholomäus Traubeck, of Munich Germany, has created equipment that translates tree rings into music by playing them on a turntable. An album has been released that features the music of various different types of trees, and can be played on a normal vinyl player.

One thing that these trees and H Jon Benjamin have in common is that they both have an album in which they play the piano, but have no idea how.

H Jon Benjamin, know for his role as Archer and Bob ( from Bob’s Burgers), commissioned and released a jazz album in which the album is aptly named Well I Should Have…* ( learnt how to play piano). If you have a spare half hour, or long commute, it is a must listen.
